- After atmosphere purging and refill with new N2, pouring of CH3CN, then pouring of C2H6. Both liquids were given 4-5 minutes to mix in the condenser. Then the solenoid valve below the condenser was open to flow the mix to the tholins' surface, but the balance stopped working at that time and mass could not be recorded. Just before this spectrum was taken, the tholins were overflown by C2H6, and some of them were mixed with the overflowing C2H6 and disseminated outside their Petri dish (in a larger Petri dish). As a consequence, all the analysed samples starting from this one have a lower quantity of tholins on the Spectralon than before. There does not appear, however, to have had any discernible effect on the recorded spectra.
