Description
Raw MIR absorbance spectra of several matrix grains of CR chondrites (EET92042, GRO95577, NWA14700, LAP04720, MAC87320, MET00426, MIL090657, NWA14499, NWA13724, QUE99177, QUE94603, PCA91082 and NWA14250) pressed on a diamond window and measured under ambient P and T conditions and/or under vacuum at ambient temperature and/or 250°C
Number of spectra
147
Variable type(s)
  • sample composition
  • temperature
  • chemical variability
Instrument
Brucker Vertex 70 + Hyperion 3000 – micro-transmission Mid-IR
Sample holder
The diamond windows were loaded into a cell, enabling temperatures up to 300°C under vacuum (from $10^{-4}$ mbar down to $10^{-7}$ mbar). Optical access is permitted from both sides of the cell through KBr windows, thus enabling measurements in transmission.
